"Old Molly"
An example of Granddad Trilby's 1955 Royal Enfield G2 Bullet 350, made in England. Thomas's dream machine. The bike that really got my imagination going when I sat down to pen The Black Star Sapphire.

Join The Ride
Thomas's best friend Charlie 'Chubs' Greene on his 1970 Yamaha Scrambler 100.

Mechanical Poetry
"She's got as much spunk as your late Grandmother had, God rest her soul".
Granddad says to Thomas.
Excerpt from Chapter 3 (Old Molly)
The Danger Squad.
Alfie Bean, leader of The Danger Squad motorbike club from East London on his 1968 Triumph Bonneville T120R 650.
Ooh Rah! The death, defying Danger Squad......
Christ! he thought, out of the frying pan and into the fire. Still, as he, Chubs and the rest of the thundering, rumbling mass of chrome and steel passed underneath the overhead doors, which were promptly dropped back into place, with a crash, he thought, I much prefer the sound of danger, in Danger Squad to the sound of death in Death Wheelers.
Excerpt from Chapter 15 (Night Riders)
It's not an engine...It's a heartbeat...
Especially a Bullet, with Its thump...
For as long as I can remember, motorbikes have been a constant for me. From as a child until this very moment.
Dream them, look at them, admire them, write about them, buy them, sell them but most of all, ride them.
The people you meet, the places you go....Immeasurable!!!
